    Strategy alignment

    What is it?

    Is your strategy currently on a fancy PowerPoint presentation with only the C-suite being privy to its contents? Given the extensive amount of work to arrive at your carefully crafted strategy, how much effort has been invested in cascading it to the rest of the organisation to ensure that everyone understands what is expected of them to contribute towards your strategy’s success?

    Our experience is that the burden of interpretation of strategic objectives is left to individuals – which brings about a high risk of misalignment or unnecessary duplicated effort.

    What is the Trainiac approach?

    Facilitated workshops that help key stakeholders unpack and debate the strategic direction of their business. This is typically coupled with a graphic recording (created during the session)or graphic representation (created after the session) that can be used as a base to begin communicating the strategy to other parts of the business.

    Why do we need it?

    We live in an ever-evolving world, and as such, we know that aspects of your strategy need to be fluid and adaptable. We also know that, with so many balls in the air, it is is critical to ensure that all your key stakeholders are on the same page with regards to the strategy. It is critical that all your key stakeholders are aligned on your strategic objectives and are able to drive it with consistency and clear direction.

    Instructional designers and specialist facilitators

     

    Our team of instructional designers and specialist facilitators spend time understanding the gaps that exist with regards to alignment across the team and on your current communication approach. Once we have a clear idea of the gap that needs closing, we begin the process of designing a suitable solution to close these gaps and to ensure that measures for success are clear and achievable.

     

    This is done through a combination of approaches that may include graphic facilitation and where necessary, virtually facilitated workshops that maximum encourage participation. Our specialist facilitators and artist work together to direct the flow of conversation while also live-intepreting it into a visual.

     

    The end product is a strategy visual (we call this a strategy journey map) that can be rendered into a digital environment, so that it can be used for communication, training, or coaching, across the business.

    A benefit of bringing us along the journey of achieving strategic alignment, is that we get a good look at how things are working in your world – this positions us to be able to easily support the development of training, communication campaigns, coaching session, or a multitude of interventions that can be run to ensure strategic alignment across the whole business.

    These are the digitally illustrated version of the graphic recording and it allows for adjustments and editability, so as things change in the future, the image can change with it, and you can keep others up to date.

    Cross platform capability

    These rendered journey maps can be used in a variety of platforms, from face to face training session and workshops, to digital communication campaigns or as part of important presentations, they can even be broken apart and unpacked in pieces, through huddles, coaching session and various team meetings.
