Changing circumstances require for businesses to periodically review its systems and processes to stay on top of the game.
An upgrade or change of a system and/or process, although intended to improve efficiencies and therefore overall performance, can be very costly if people are not properly onboarded on the change. This requires careful careful attention to prevent frustration, disengagement and sometimes a complete disregard of what has been invested on the new system or process. This is where a change management must form part of the strategy from the onset to ensure adoption and ultimately quickly realise Return On Investment.
