Case Study 01
Role-Specific Training for Complex System Implementation
The Challenge
A large organisation was implementing a new enterprise system affecting hundreds of employees across multiple functional roles. The challenge was not simply technical training but helping diverse user populations understand how the system fit into their specific workflows and what behavioural changes were required. Generic training threatened low adoption and operational inconsistency.
Our Approach
We developed a role-specific curriculum that acknowledged the complexity of organisational workflows whilst making each employee's learning journey clear and relevant. The design combined conceptual understanding (how this system serves the organisation), procedural knowledge (how to perform key tasks), and reinforcement (maintaining accuracy and efficiency). Learning was tailored by role to ensure relevance and reduce cognitive load.
Developed Deliverables
Design Process

Analyze
- Stakeholder interviews
- Needs analysis
- Current-state audit

Design
- Learning strategy
- Curriculum mapping
- Success measures

Develop
- Content build
- Storyboarding
- Pilot testing

Implement
- Facilitator enablement
- Rollout
- Manager coaching

Evaluate
- Completion tracking
- Impact review
- Iterate & refine
The Outcome
Employees experience the system implementation as a capability enabler, not a disruptive change. Role-specific training eliminates confusion and accelerates proficiency. Consistent process understanding across the organisation leads to fewer operational errors, faster transaction processing, and improved stakeholder satisfaction. System adoption and sustained behavioural alignment continue well after implementation.
