A branded Trainiapp instance — including your own account, custom-branded app, and platform configuration — can typically be set up within 2–4 weeks. This includes account creation, app theming and design, app store submissions (for Android and iOS), and initial admin onboarding. Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of your branding requirements, app store review cycles, and whether custom integrations are needed.

Trainiapp's primary hosting infrastructure is based in South Africa (1-Grid), with encrypted backups on Microsoft Azure (UK South region). All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256, and all data in transit is protected by TLS 1.2 with ECDHE_ECDSA (P-256) and AES_128_GCM cipher suites. User data is collected and processed in accordance with our End-User License Agreement (EULA), and users have the right to request deletion of their personal data at any time.

Yes. Trainiapp supports SCORM package imports, allowing you to bring existing eLearning content onto the platform. SCORM packages can be uploaded and embedded within stories and pathways. It's worth noting that some advanced LMS-specific behaviours (such as skip-prevention controls) may not carry over due to browser same-origin policies when content runs inside an iframe. We recommend testing your SCORM packages after upload to confirm they behave as expected, and we can assist with any adjustments needed.

Trainiapp operates on a tiered SaaS subscription model. Pricing is based on the scale of your deployment — including user volume, content volume, storage, and concurrency needs. Each engagement begins with a scaling assessment to recommend the right tier for your organisation. Setup fees apply for new accounts and branded apps. All pricing is reviewed annually and excludes VAT. Your account manager can provide a tailored quote based on your specific requirements.

Your Trainiapp account comes with a dedicated support structure. We handle all frontline support, admin training, and onboarding for your team. This includes platform walkthroughs, content authoring guidance, and ongoing assistance via our built-in support channel. For any platform-level technical issues, we have a direct escalation path to the engineering team to ensure fast resolution. Support is available on weekdays during business hours (SAST).

Yes. Trainiapp is modular by design — features can be enabled or disabled at the account level as your needs evolve. If you start with core learning delivery and later need advanced features like API integrations, AI-assisted content generation, analytics dashboards, or additional branded apps, these can be added to your subscription. Scaling up (or down) is handled through your account management, and any changes to your tier or feature set are reflected in your subscription accordingly.

Trainiapp is built as a responsive web application that works across desktop and mobile browsers, ensuring broad device compatibility. The platform supports multiple content formats — text, audio, video, and interactive elements — allowing content authors to design inclusive learning experiences. We continuously work to improve accessibility across the platform. Trainiapp complies in essence with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards. The platform architecture follows security-first principles including Single-Responsibility, Observer, and DRY design patterns. All connections use encrypted tokens and TLS 1.2. The platform is OWASP Top 10 compliant, with brute-force protection and continuous session validation. Infrastructure is managed under a formal Information Security Policy Manual (ISPM), and we can provide detailed security documentation upon request during your procurement process.

Yes. Trainiapp offers a RESTful API that supports integration with your existing HR, CRM, or business systems. Common integrations include automated user provisioning, enrolment management, and data exchange via API. The platform also supports Single Sign-On (SSO) through providers like Microsoft Azure AD and Google. SCORM export is available for interoperability with other LMS platforms. For custom integration requirements, we scope these during the engagement process and can provide a technical solutions architect to guide implementation.

User data is collected and processed only with explicit consent — all users agree to the End-User License Agreement (EULA) when creating an account. Users have the right to withdraw consent and request deletion of their data at any time via the app. Platform administrators are responsible for actioning deletion requests in a timely manner. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and our hosting infrastructure is based in South Africa, supporting POPIA requirements for data residency.
